Leadership Development Programs

Gallup, the most well recognized US business climate survey organization has reported that less than one-third of the US workforce is engaged while in the job and that this has resulted in an annual productivity loss of approximately $500,000,000,000.  Motova8 has two focused leadership development programs designed to boost employee engagement within your organization quickly, reliably, and in a way that provides lasting impact.

Emerging Leaders Program

Introduction:

The Motova8 Emerging Leaders Program is intended for those who have demonstrated that they have the desire and potential to become organizational leaders within your enterprise.  They may or may not currently have subordinates or a leadership-related job title, but they will have been with your organization for at least one year in a position where their desire and potential has been observed. The Motova8 team will work with you at no charge to assist in the identification of appropriate candidates for this program to include the administration of a brief evaluation tool and interviews with potential candidates.

Structure:

This program has a three-month term, which research and experience has shown to be the sweet spot for basic to intermediate behavior modification. Less time shortchanges the impact, and more time rarely improves the outcome.

We start with a two-day immersion type presentation combining state of the art leadership development techniques with the time-tested techniques used to convert civilians into United States Marines.  That is followed by three months of coaching, with a minimum of one coaching session every three weeks, the use of a sophisticated online leadership development app, and monthly reports to the reporting senior.  Finally, there is a one-day session at the conclusion of the program that focuses on the need for consistent and long-term application of the improved leadership behaviors along with the strategies and tactics necessary to do so.

 Expected Outcomes:

Your emerging leader will return to work after the initial session Motova8ed and ready to apply the basic strategies and tactics presented during the session.  Each will have a specific leadership development mission to accomplish during the next ninety days, a mission that will be shared with the reporting senior.  This mission will be designed to develop the personal leadership behavior of the individual and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of his or her work performance.

Leaders Program

Introduction:

The Motova8 Leaders Program is intended for those who are currently in leadership positions within your enterprise and have the desire and potential to raise their leadership game. They will have at least at two organizational levels reporting to them, significant interdepartmental peer level coordination responsibilities, at least an advisory role in determining enterprise strategy, and visibility to senior management.  While they may not have been with your organization for an extended period, they will have been at the appropriate management level for at least four years. The Motova8 team will work with you in identifying candidates for this program to include the administration of a brief 360-degree survey and interviews with both the candidates and their reporting seniors.

Structure:

This program has a six-month term in order to provide the time required for developing the more comprehensive leadership behavioral change organizations are looking for in their senior leaders.

We start with a three-day immersion type presentation combining state of the art leadership development techniques with the time-tested techniques used to develop United States Marine Officers.  That is followed by six months of coaching, with a minimum of one coaching session every two weeks, the use of a sophisticated online leadership development app, and monthly reports to the reporting senior.  Finally, there is a two-day session at the conclusion of the program that focuses on the need for consistent and long-term application of the improved leadership behaviors along with the strategies and tactics necessary to do so.
